A leading life science company is looking for a trainee Technical Support Specialist to join their team in the South East of the UK. The role will involve supporting customers by telephone and e-mail on specifically peptide and antisera designs and associated technical queries. You will also become involved in presenting techniques to customers and attending conferences and seminars. The successful candidate will be a graduate or have a higher qualification in biochemistry/molecular biology and have a sound understanding of proteomic based techniques. Those with hands-on experience of using antisera and peptides will be of particular interest, and excellent communication skills will be essential.
