Account Sales Specialist - £32K (£40K OTE)

A leading life science company has created a new opportunity within its sales group and is keen to recruit an Account Sales Specialist to cover a region including Kent, Surrey, Sussex, South & West London to Reading. The role will primarily involve managing a group of existing accounts in the territory that consists of a mix of pharma, biotech and academic centres which are spending many millions with this company. The sales process tends to include buyers, purchasing departments and stores; it will be a commodity style of sale and involve dealing with senior level management at customer sites. The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with at least two years of successful field sales experience in the life science sector. Previous experience of negotiating supply contracts is highly desirable; excellent relationship building skills and the ability to develop business plans for specific accounts is also necessary.
