A specialist manufacturer of innovative diagnostic kits and reagents is looking for an Applications Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a UK based position, which will offer travel opportunities throughout Europe and America. The specific assays are used in the detection of myelomas and dyscrasias, which can be run on most major chemistry analysers. This position requires providing email and telephone technical support to existing customer within the healthcare sector. You will also implement assays and troubleshoot on a wide range of analysers at customer sites, dealing with technical queries and complications first hand. As a core member of the marketing division, you will also carry out product training to customers and distributors. To be successful in your application, you should have a degree or PhD in biomedical sciences. Hospital laboratory experience, including analyser operation in immunology or clinical chemistry is essential.
