Senior Applications Support Specialist - £30K

A leading worldwide manufacturer of clinical diagnostic instrumentation and instrumentation is seeking an Applications Support Specialist. Based at the company?s UK headquarters in the North-East the successful candidate will be required to support and train clients on the instrumentation and pro-actively promote the full range of consumable reagents. The reagents are immuno-histochemistry (IHC) based and the role will include providing telephone, email and on-site technical support. The position will also include some European travel, so those of you who have been bitten by the travel bug will find this an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself into other cultures too! The successful candidate will have several years experience in immuno-histochemistry, with a biomedical science background. Candidates with experience in troubleshooting instrumentation will be highly desirable, and the role will be ideal for an individual from a laboratory background who would like to move into a more customer facing commercial environment.
