Account Manager - £30K (£40K OTE)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading supplier of molecular biology research products in the UK. The company has recently promoted internally and is keen to recruit an Account Manager to manage the South West territory. The role will involve managing a number of established accounts that will include a mix of academic, biotech and some medium sized pharma accounts. In addition you will be expected to grow business by proactive sales activity and developing further sales in established accounts. The products include both consumable and instrumentation targeted at molecular biology research laboratories. The successful candidate will be a graduate or PhD level scientist with a sound understanding of molecular biology research techniques. Ideally you should have at least one year of field sales experience in the life science sector although those with applications or laboratory experience looking to move into a sales role should still apply.
