Application Specialist - £35K (£45K OTE)

A rapidly expanding biotechnology company that have developed a novel research instrument based around the gel electrophoresis technology is keen to recruit an Applications Specialist based from their West London facility. The role will be varied and include developing applications notes, working with customers on specific applications issues and developing new patent ideas. You will also demonstrate the instruments to potential customers, help with installation and post installation training at customers sites in Europe. Attend and present the novel technology at seminars and conferences across Europe, as you can see this is a highly varied and interesting role! The instruments are based around the gel electrophoresis technology, however do not use any labels allowing huge savings in time and cost. The successful candidate will be a PhD level scientist or have compensating research experience in the field of small molecule separation, DNA sequencing or electrophoresis. In addition you will have at least 12 months of hands on applications experience and be have excellent communication and presentation skills.
