Product Support Manager - £33K (£36K OTE)

A world leading supplier of compression tools sold to pharmaceutical manufacturers across the world is keen to recruit a Product Support Manager based from their head office in the Midlands. The role will involve managing a team of two product support engineers based in the office. The purpose of this group is to provide technical support to customers, sales agents, distribution channels and internal employees. The group is expected to liaise with customers and resolve technical and breakdown issues; you will have to interact with other departments frequently. In addition you will produce product training courses for customers, agents and distributors and deliver these courses throughout the year. The group also interacts closely with the marketing team to develop real life case studies to use in targeted marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will have a mechanical engineering background and those with engineering experience in the pharmaceutical arena will be of very high interest. In addition previous team leadership experience is necessary along with excellent interpersonal skills. This role would suit a field sales engineer who has mentored others before, but is now looking for a new challenge.
