Research Pharmacist - £50K

A leading manufacturer of unlicensed drugs for the pharmaceutical and healthcare market is looking to recruit a senior Research Pharmacist to join the team. The on-site manufactured drugs ? with NO involvement of animal testing of any kind ? are used to treat rare diseases. This position is largely laboratory based, with occasional customer visits throughout the UK and Europe. Liaising with high level individuals in the healthcare industry, you will establish the requirements and feasibility and eventually bringing the product to manufacturing stages. The remit includes evaluating commercial potential and project managing product manufacturing. You will also be required to take part in major pharmaceutical key conferences. To be successful in your application, you will have a PhD in chemistry or pharmacy. Hospital pharmacy experience is required and medicinal product formulation is highly desirable.
