Sales and Marketing Trainee - £18K

Since 1990, this company has been at the forefront of development of innovative technologies based around genetic analysis applications. This evolution has resulted in the development of a high throughput microsatellite and DNA fragment analysis system, a real time DNA analysis system and most recently, robotic liquid handling workstations, the newest in the company's range of specialised genetic analysis equipment. The company specialises in developing a range of analytical instruments used for genetic analysis applications and has enjoyed increasing recognition and expansion in international markets. This role focuses primarily on selling Q-PCR machines to new and existing customers in the north of England and Scotland. This will include customers in the research, clinical diagnostics and university sectors. You will provide full technical support and get involved with customer applications so as to ensure that the features and benefits are demonstrated and carefully explained. You will be supported and the package will be financially rewarding. This is a challenging sales role and is not going to suit an applications or technical support specialist. You should have hands on experience of using Q-PCR and must have capital sales experience, selling to customers based in this area. To be successful you must have a life sciences degree and a proven sales record of capital equipment. This will suit a motivated, dynamic, sales hungry individual who enjoys a challenge and wants to succeed. If this is you then please contact us ASAP!
