Field Applications Specialist - £30K (£40K OTE)

A leading life science company is expanding its field applications team and is keen to recruit a new Applications Specialist to focus on their nucleic acid purification automated systems. The position will involve supporting the sales team by demonstrating, installing, supporting and troubleshooting the product range. You will provide solutions to both reagent and automation based problems; this is primarily a technical role in a sales and customer orientated environment. The successful candidate will need to be a graduate in molecular biology or biochemistry with post-graduate research experience using nucleic acid purification techniques and automated systems. Knowledge and experience acquired in the pharmaceutical industry would be of particular interest, especially if that experience is in high throughput screening. Excellent communication skills and organisational skills will be essential, and any previous customer facing experience will be advantageous.
