Principal Service Engineer - £40K (£44K OTE)

A new and growing biotech company that is based in Germany is expanding its team and is keen to recruit a Principal Service Engineer to support their customers across Europe. The role will be based from your home office so location is not critical. This is an exciting opportunity to join a young and growing company, and undoubtedly you'll be enthused by working in a friendly, small company environment. You will be an experienced service engineer, preferably with a technical qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering, and looking for a step up the ladder. Your experience is likely to include automated systems sold into the laboratory environment, ideally including microarray technology although this isn't essential. This role will offer a rare opportunity to progress into service management, given the sales growth which is anticipated and will be aided by your own efforts to. On joining the company your first task would be to set up the processes, manuals and other administrative tasks as this is the first service orientated position in the organisation, naturally exposure to this area will be an advantage.
