Sales Specialist - £30K (£35K OTE)

A world leading supplier of analytical instrumentation which supplies products to pharmaceutical companies and research institutions is seeking a Sales Specialist. The position will be based in the South of the UK and cover an area from Wales to Norfolk. The role will involve following up sales leads generated by colleagues, visiting existing and potential customers and includes qualifying sales potential, discussing technical applications and closing the sale. The ideal candidate would have a degree in a science discipline preferably chemistry, and knowledge of the techniques of chromatography - bags of confidence and the ability to influence others is essential! Experience in scientific instrument sales especially liquid or ideally ion chromatography would be particularly desirable.
