Telesales Representative - £16K (£20K OTE)

An expanding life science company is keen to recruit an ambitious trainee to spearhead sales growth to the research sector of their business. The company sells a range of molecular biology research kits and consumables along with a range of microarray spotter instruments to research laboratories in pharma, biotech and academic centres. The company is offering a rare opportunity for an inexperienced trainee to learn their trade in an office environement, building relationships with customers prior to moving into field sales in the longer term. The successful candidate will be a graduate with a sound understanding of molecular biology. Those with experience in the microarray and/or QPCR field, perhaps during an industrial placement, would be of particular interest. Whilst previous sales experience is desirable it is not essential; those with telesales experience outside of the lifescience industry, perhaps whilst supporting your education, would be of particular interest. Excellent communication skills and self motivation will be necessary, as in all sales roles! To discuss this trainee opportunity within a new and growing company in Europe, contact us ASAP.
