Account Manager - £30K (£40K OTE)

A world leading life science company is keen to recruit a new Account Manager to look after a well developed territory in the Oxford regions. The role will involve managing a number of academic, biotech and pharma accounts in the territory which has been well looked after and is currently over target. You will be expected to maintain the business and grow sales in the region further. The product range is large and centred around genomic and proteomic research areas. The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with a good understanding of molecular biology techniques and either some previous sales experience in the life science sector or the desire to move into a field sales role. Those without previous sales experience will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of what the role involves and have excellent communication skills.
