Account Manager - £32K (£38K OTE)

A leading supplier of genomic and proteomic research products is recruiting an Account Manager to cover the London territory. The area includes all accounts within the M25. The products in question include a range of custom manufactured oligonucleotides extraction kits PCR products and others used in research laboratories. The customer base is largely composed of academic accounts but you will also be responsible for maintaining sales within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. You will effectively manage these accounts and identify new sales opportunities. You will work with a team of four sales people so relationship building and team playing skills are essential! To be successful in your application you will have a life science degree combined with some years of research within a molecular biology or biochemistry setting. Alternatively a PhD qualification within a similar area is required. In addition you must have a proven track record of sales or account management within the life science industry. The successful candidate will preferably live in London although if you would consider covering the territory off patch you should also apply.
