Description:	This is a very rare opportunity within a world leading life science company at a senior level within the marketing group. The company is keen to recruit a European Market Development Manager who will report directly to head of marketing in the US to manage and develop marketing programmes to increase sales within the pharmaceutical market. The role is focused specifically on the pharma market in Europe and the role would involve analysing the market needs and dynamics and developing and implementing marketing programs to generate demand within the pharma companies. You would liaise with sales groups across Europe and also represent the European perspective at global strategic marketing meetings. The successful candidate will be a life science graduate ideally in the genomic field with at least seven years of commercial experience in the life science or clinical sector. It is essential that the person be familiar with the drug discovery process in Europe and have worked with the pharma companies previously. Those with business development experience who have negotiated large contracts with pharma companies and developed strategy to win business in this market will be of particular interest.
