Description:	This is an exciting opportunity for a highly entrepreneurial person to be involved the sale of a mass spec based technology platform which has been recently commercialized for the first time.A New Zealand-based scientific instrumentation manufacturer is expanding its operation in the UK and Europe and is keen to recruit a European Sales Manager for their Manchester based European headquarters. The products include a Selected ion flow tube mass spectrometry based instrument for the qualification and quantification of Volatile Organic Compounds in whole-air associated consumables and service contracts.Customers will include European Port operators and owners security agencies medical researchers contract laboratories food and flavour researchers etc. Reasonably regular travel will be required.The successful candidate must have proven sales experience in a hi-tech environment. Whilst a scientific background would be a distinct advantage excellent commercial skills are key the success of this position.As leader of a small UK based sales and support team and reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager based in the New Zealand HQ this role provides the opportunity to be a key player in the sale of this leading edge technology.To discuss the post in greater detail contact us is the strictest of confidence immediately.
