Description:	What a great opportunity to start 2007 off with an expanding life science company that has developed a novel liquid handling system is expanding its operations within Europe and is now keen to recruit an additional Technical Support Engineer for Europe.  The role will be based from the UK and will involve supporting customers in the UK Germany France and Scandanavia alongside one other engineer.  You will provide on-site and phone support to customers install systems carry out routine maintenance and provide emergency breakdown assistance across Europe.  The systems are unique and are incorporated into larger processes hence a need for good software skills along with electromechanical or physics based experience.  The successful candidate will have a science or electromechanical background with a number of years of field based service/support experience preferably with automated liquid handling equipment.  Those with mass spec or an ultrasound background will also be of high interest.  Electronics diagnostics experience including use of oscilloscope DVM and the ability to use circuit diagrams to diagnose problems with digital and RF circuits will be required.  Excellent IT skills will be necessary as you will have to resolve integration issues and networking problems.  The prospects for the company and this role are excellent they have ambitious plans and are expanding across Europe with their unique technology this is a highly autonomous role with a market leading package available for the right person.  I am very enthusiastic about this company and opportunity so do call me in strict confidence to discuss the role in greater detail ASAP.
