Description:	An expanding internationally renowned Biotechnology company is expanding its research and development programme and is now keen to recruit a Technology Director within the UK.  The role will involve leading and having overall senior management responsibility for the company's market driven research and development programmes resulting in new products to support the business five year strategic growth plan.  You will identify evaluate and develop new technology in-house inter-company or through external licensing and collaborative programmes.  This is an exceptional opportunity to take a leading role in the future success of this company the successful candidate will have a PhD or compensating research experience in the life science sector with expert knowledge of sample preparation and amplification of nucleic acids.  You should have experience of developing business cases for R&D funding and have successfully managed product development projects previously.  Experience of the IP landscape in PCR/QPCR would be very desirable in this post.  To discuss this opportunity in confidence contact us ASAP.
