Description:	A leading manufacturer of biomedical instrument systems tests and consumables is recruiting an Applications Specialist to join the team. You will be responsible for a range of genetic analysis and nucleic acid preparation products. The remit includes supporting the sales process by carrying out instrument demonstrations running samples product training and troubleshooting. Working closely with the sales team you will provide a high level of customer service to maintain the company reputation. You will be a team player and have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. You may be required to stay overnight in locations throughout the UK. The position is field based and you must be based in the UK! There will be quarterly visits to the head office and you can work from home if desired. To be successful in your application you will have a PhD in molecular biology. Experience of DNA sequencing is desirable.  Good presentation skills combined with existing applications experience will put you head and shoulders above the rest!
