Description:	A leading provider of scientific products and services is looking to recruit a Life Science Specialist to join the team. This is a new position and has become vacant through a successful company acquisition. You will focus on a range of human antibody-based products serving the research academic biotechnology and pharmaceutical organisations. These are used widely in stem cell research cell signalling and antibody production. The territory will cover the whole of the UK in addition to Ireland. You will support a team of salespeople throughout the territory by offering pre and post sales technical support. Although you will not be actively carrying out the direct sales you will play an integral part in the whole process. A large proportion of your time will be carrying out dual customer visits. The remit also includes carrying out presentations and attending seminars. There is already a growing European team and as the first UK based Life Science Specialist you will have the opportunity to shape the role. To be in with a winning chance to join at the entry level an organisation which likes to promote from within you will have a PhD in cell biology or immunology. Alternatively you will have some appropriate experience in the laboratory.
