Description:	A rare and exciting opportunity to start your sales career in the high-tech world of lasers. You'll be guided and mentored by one of the most successful business developers in the industry who has a track record of inspiring success from enthusiastic employees. This fast growing company distributes products for three major established manufacturers of laser products. These products include laser diodes femtosecond fibre lasers industrial lasers and wavelength meters used in a range of applications including metrology spectroscopy microscopy and optical data storage. Business has grown at such a rate that the workload can no longer be handled by the existing two person team which is where you come in! You will be responsible for handling existing and generating new business handling quotes and making presentations typically at doctor / professor level. Whilst generating new business will be an important part of your responsibility this is a very specialist market with a relatively small customer base most of which will be familiar with this company. This is a commercial position that requires a high level of technical understanding of lasers; consequently you need to be educated to degree level in an applied or laser physics subject. You should also be extremely enthusiastic with a  genuine desire to develop your career in sales. You do not need to have any previous sales experience!
