Description:	A global leader in laboratory supplies is looking to increase its team of applications specialists by recruiting a technically competent biologist in the Cambridge area. The company wants to sell products from its extensive portfolio by having experienced scientists in the front line sales positions; therefore, to be successful you'll have post graduate laboratory experience or a further degree (PhD or maybe a Masters by Research), coupled with the natural dynamism necessary to succeed in commerce. You'll be able to describe instantly the processes involved in techniques such as cloning, PCR, gene expression etc and understand the customers' needs, enabling you to offer a solution to any potential issues from the products at your disposal. Any previous commercial experience, either in a sales or applications role will be beneficial in your application as the primary function of this role is new business development, handing over to the territory representatives once business is established.
