Description:	Well here we have one of those very rare opportunities for a Product Manager, and it is with one of the leading life science companies within the UK!  The role will be 60% office based and 40% field based and involve defining the strategic direction of the product area, which is Proteomics and Cell Analysis, in the UK and distributor markets.  You will have total responsibility for implementation of the marketing plan and achievement of set goals that will include the marketing mix, customer strategies, channel strategies, product launch, promotional plans and product life cycle management.  Support of sales activities through training of the sales team, on-site support of sales activities and assistance in developing custom and bulk business.  The successful candidate will be a graduate or PhD level scientist with knowledge of molecular biology and cell analysis techniques.  You should have previous life science sales experience in the market and ideally have been involved in some marketing initiatives.  Any experience of developing and implementing marketing plans would be highly desirable but not essential.  To discuss this outstanding opportunity in confidence contact us soon!
