Description:	This is a fabulous opportunity to join a highly respected company in the life science sector as an Applications Support Specialist.  Initially this will be a twelve month fixed term contract.  The role will be primarily based from their offices in the Thames Valley and involve providing technical support to users and potential users of the company's systems by telephone and e-mail.  In addition, you will be involved in conducting proof of principle studies on customer samples and presenting research solutions to customers.  The successful candidate will be a PhD in molecular biology or a graduate with compensating research experience; knowledge of gene expression and genotyping is of high interest.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak Italian is essential.  This is a great opportunity, created through maternity leave within the department.  It is hoped however that the role will become permanent in due course.  To join a highly innovative market leader which will provide all training to ensure your success and to discuss the post in greater detail, contact us ASAP.
