Description:	This is a rare opportunity in the diagnostics market, ideally suited to a biomedical scientist looking to step out of the laboratory into a commercial role.  One of the most recognised manufacturers of clinical diagnostics systems and consumables is expanding its team and is keen to recruit a Laboratory Automation Specialist.  This role supports the sales team and involves working with customers to identify ways of improving the work flow within the clinical laboratory by utilising automation and HTS systems.  You will assess and present solutions to customers in conjunction with the sales team but not be expected to close sales or be targeted on sales.  You will spend 2-3 days in the field in the South West and Midlands region and the remaining time you will be working from home.  The successful candidate will have a background in biomedical science and have experience within a clinical chemistry laboratory.  Previous experience with automated systems is desirable, no previous commercial experience is necessary although existing applications or sales people are welcome to apply.  Full training and support will be provided to ensure your success in this role.  To discuss the post in detail contact us in confidence.
