Description:	A market leading manufacturer of research instruments and consumables is expanding its marketing team in Europe and is keen to recruit a Market Development Manager for Europe.  The role will be office based with up to 20% international travel and involve developing marketing programmes to increase sales in specific target market segments.  This will be achieved by analysing the market needs and trends and then developing and implementing a marketing plan to generate demand.  Regular interaction with colleagues in both sales and marketing will be required and the establishment of strategic initiatives with key opinion leaders in your target market.  The successful candidate will be a graduate with a good understanding of the molecular biology/genomics research areas.  Some commercial experience is necessary; this could be from a purely sales role, B.D, product management or marketing post.  No previous formal marketing experience is necessary;  however you should have an appreciation of marketing and be interested in taking your career in this direction.  To discuss this role in confidence contact us soon.
