Description: Strategic business operations for a market leader! This is a highly strategic position within the business development operations group, with responsibility for co-ordinating all internal business activities for allocated clients. The job involves liaising extensively with internal customers from proposals, sales, contracts management and operations to enhance relationships with customers and secure new business for the company.  This is not a sales role and you will not have a sales target to deliver. This is a highly client facing role involving customer service, cross functional team leadership and project management activities. Working across all company business units it is your job to ensure that a consistent business message is communicated to clients from each group in line with individual client needs and expectations. Who are we looking for? This role is of critical importance in securing new business for the company and the requirement is for a senior level person with the right skills to bring direction and strength to business development operations. Knowledge and a good understanding of clinical research, together with a  strong customer  and business focus are essential. The position requires analytical skills, strategic thinking, customer focus, functional/technical skills, priority setting, timely decision making, good interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team and also within a matrix management structure.
