Description:	Rarely does such an interesting opportunity become available within the life science market, a globally recognised leader within the life science market is keen to recruit a UK Sales Manager.  This is a senior level appointment within the company and will involve leading a team of 26 people through a structure of 3 regional sales managers and 2 senior level key account managers.  The company has a very wide range of products that are utilised in almost every laboratory within the UK, they are in a competitive environment and are keen to continue their sustained sales growth.  The role will involve developing and implementing strategic marketing and sales plans to deliver growth.  Motivating and developing the skills of the sales team will be essential.  The successful candidate will be a graduate, ideally in chemistry with a number of years of direct sales experience and subsequently having moved into a sales management post.  Confidence to negotiate with customers at board level and inspire the sales team will be essential.  You should have empathy and an understanding of the challenges that face field based sales people in a competitive environment.  A market leading salary and benefits package is available to the right candidate along with a genuine career path to follow in one of the most recognised life science companies in the world!  To discuss this opportunity in total confidence contact us soon.
