The studies are usually phase I-III in focus and highly scientific. When you take on the role of project manager in this company you are involved in setting the project strategy and delivering the project through the leadership of a cross functional team. This job would suit an experienced project manager who likes to work in a small yet highly experienced team, with involvement in smaller international project activities close to the science rather than overseeing large global programmes. There are lots of opportunities for long term development that includes taking on line management responsibility and having input into tactical business plans. Who can apply? You will be an experienced project manager prepared to "go the extra mile" and be involved in the day to day activity as well as the strategic decision making. There is the flexibility to be home based but you will need to commit to at least one day in the Thames Valley offices.
