Essentially, we are looking for a highly experience line manager with a broad background in clinical research that includes clinical study management and line management in the UK. An understanding of the European market place with regard to clinical operations is essential along with the gravitas to take charge of a highly experienced team of CRAs and Team Leaders. In this role you will be responsible for allocating UK resource to international projects, recruiting staff, conducting appraisals and performance review, and overseeing the delivery of clinical operations activities. There will also be involvement in proposal development and business development activities, where you will use your expertise in clinical operations to support the winning of new business. In the long term there are excellent development opportunities available - to take on more responsibility for operations on a European level, to lead process improvement initiatives or become strategically involved in the evolution of clinical operations in a challenging and ever changing market.
