Description:	A leading life science company that has a global presence is expanding its European business development team and is keen to recruit a Business Development Executive to develop and maintain high level relationships with key drug discovery companies in the South of the UK.  The role will involve influencing purchasing decisions within the drug discovery companies by generating key account plans and implementing them.  You will be expected to build effective relationships with significant opinion leaders in the UK to ensure your commercial success.  You will also support the field sales team through technical sales support in important product areas; these include RNAi, custom molecular biology services and the protein array field.  The successful candidate will live in the South of the UK and be educated to degree level in a life science subject.  A sound understanding of molecular biology will be essential and you should have sales experience in the life science market.  This should ideally include experience of sales to the drug discovery field.  Excellent negotiation skills and a high level of commercial acumen are essential.  This is a senior sales position in the organisation and you will be given a high level of autonomy to allow you to be successful.  The company can offer an excellent salary and bonus potential with fantastic benefits.  There are exciting career growth options due to the size and growth of the organisation.  To discuss the role in greater detail in confidence contact us ASAP.
