Feasibility Specialist/Senior - £45K

Job Ref: 6497
Position: Feasibility Specialist/Senior
Category: Clinical - Data Management
Basic: £45000
OTE: £
Location: Thames Valley
Description: This is a high profile role with a market leading company involved in the commercialistion of all of the pharmaceutical industrys high performing products!! Feasibility and patient recruitment roles are hugely under-rated in the clinical research industry. In what other role can you have responsibility for running stand-alone projects, ownership of a global process and interaction with senior level staff offering a high level of visibility? In this role you will have full responsibility for co-ordinating all feasibility activities on a global level by leading teams of local country experts who will collect data from sites regarding patient recruitment. You will collate all this site information, combine it with data mined from publications, internal databases and competitor trials and analyse it, producing reports to make recommendations about the best countries/sites able to deliver the patients needed for large, global clinical trials in all therapy areas.  Yes you will be supporting the proposal process for ongoing bids but you will also be involved in managing stand-alone feasibility projects for clients as project manager. This will involve liaising with the client direct to assess their needs, putting a budget together, negotiating the contract and running the project. Youll be personally responsible for budgets in the region of $120-250,000. Its an autonomous role, and although you will benefit from excellent support you will be in charge of running each feasibility project from start to finish. These are office based positions in Berkshire although at the senior level there is the possibility to work from home. We are looking for candidates with experience as a CRA, data manager, research nurse or safety physician, interested in applying your skills to a different area of clinical research. You must be an advanced user of Excel and able to work to tight deadlines. There are excellent opportunities for long term development including the move into clinical project management. Call now for more information!
