Description:	This is an office based training manager role in London! This position is available with a well respected organisation involved in the early development of novel anti-cancer agents. You will be working for a company that has helped deliver six new cancer drugs in just two years, with plans to double this activity over the next five. With growth comes more staff recruitment and there is now a need to get a formal training system and programme in place to support drug development operations. Your remit will be to develop and deliver core training programmes for project management, clinical research, regulatory affairs and data management. General topics to be trained in house will include ICH GCP, the EU Directive, company SOPs, regulatory compliance and IT systems. External training providers will be used for more soft skills training and you will be involved in selecting the providers and assessing training needs in this area. Working closely with line managers you will devise personal training programmes for members of staff, and conducting training needs analysis regularly. All induction training for new starters will be your responsibility to co-ordinate with support from all internal functions. There is a sizeable training budget available on an annual basis which you will have full accountability for. Essentially this job is one that comes up once in a lifetime! How often do you get the chance to set up a new process from scratch within an existing business? We are looking for an experienced clinical research professional with experience of planning and delivering training programmes. Sound knowledge of current legal and regulatory requirements for early clinical trials in the UK is essential. You will need to be a confident communicator with a flexible and motivating approach to learning!
