Description:	This is a fabulous opportunity within a global life science company that is expanding its marketing team and is now keen to recruit a Global Market Segment Manager based from the UK.  The role will be field based and have responsibility across Europe and the US; some travel will be necessary.  The post holder will be responsible for the global marketing requirements for a specific product group on a global basis, you will develop and execute tactical marketing plans for your product area.  Report on and take responsibility for your segment's sales targets, monitor and report on the current and changing needs of the market segment.  You will execute a marketing communications plan for the business segment and conduct regular GAP analysis on the product groups to support product rationalisation and line extensions.  This will be a varied marketing role maintaining a commercial focus; you will be supported by some of the best in the industry too!  The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with a good understanding of the industrial down stream processing market in relation to biological manufacture.  Previous product management or marketing experience will be necessary although those with sales experience in a related market with a sound understanding of marketing should still apply.  This is a brilliant opportunity to take on an autonomous global marketing role with a leading company.  Contact us now for further information.
