| Description: | Manage all advertising and awareness campaigns for patient recruitment into clinical trials across Europe! This is a really exciting role, working as part of a rapidly expanding department dedicated to the development of patient recruitment/retention strategies and their supporting advertising campaigns. The main purpose of the role is to improve patient recruitment rates so we are looking for someone with a background in clinical research, either as a CRA or site co-ordinator, with direct experience of patient recruitment activities at site. There is a media/PR element to this job as well, which will see you helping to build public interest in study participation and help maximise the number of patients becoming involved in clinical trials across all therapy areas. The media element of the job also involves managing third party vendors who will be producing the advertising materials to support patient recruitment activities. This job requires the ability to apply strategic thinking, experience and best practices in the creation, implementation and over-sight of patient recruitment and retention programmes across all European studies conducted by the company. You must be able to provide ideas, tools, processes and systems that offer multiple study teams and international sites a variety of patient recruitment/retention resources. This position fills a key role in the department and requires a range of communications, media, industry and project management skills. This is an office based position in Berkshire with up to 30% travel in Europe. Who should apply? The most important thing is that you have clinical research experience and a good understanding of the barriers to patient recruitment and retention. Ideally you will have worked as a CRA or Project Manager and have managed third party vendors. Fluency in another European language would be an advantage.
