Description:	A worldwide organisation, specialising in molecular diagnostic products and services, is recruiting an Applications Support Specialist to join the team. This is an office based position, with up to 25% field based work at customer sites in the UK and France. You will provide an office and field based resource, handling and responding to all inbound technical calls and emails, pre sales enquiries and technical support of your assigned products and services. Whilst at customer sites, you will provide pre and post sales support, customer training and product familiarization as appropriate. The successful candidate will be PhD qualified, or possibly an MSc with compensating research experience, together with comprehensive knowledge of array technology. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills are also required. In addition, you must be fluent in French as this role is dealing primarily with the French speaking market.
