Description:	This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an expanding company as an Applications Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the management of the global infrared applications engineering needs of the business. These will include customer applications evaluations, preparation of relevant support materials and development/ project management of new opportunities with the aim of bringing them to market. You will also be managing the NIR applications engineering team and be liaising with regional applications staff on a regular basis. You will have a budget to manage and be involved in a very wide variety of activities centred around supporting novel NIR applications. The successful candidate will be a graduate in chemistry or engineering with an excellent understanding of spectroscopy instrumentation, ideally near infrared based systems. Previous commercial activity in a relevant field with strong management, leadership and motivational skills are essential.
