This is an office based position in Berkshire with some flexibility to work from home occasionally, and minimal travel. At this level you will initially manage a team of 10 UK based clinical team leaders, although this is set to increase to 15 in the next few months, with full line management responsibility. In addition to your line management responsibility, you will be accountable for the performance of your team on international phase II and III studies across a range of therapy areas. You will play a key part in securing new projects, allocating resource, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met and maintaining quality across the department. There is also the opportunity to work as part of global, add value teams which looks at improving processes, developing new service offerings and rolling out clinical operations initiatives on a global level. We are looking for a highly experienced line manager with previous experience working as a CRA and clinical team leader - time spent in a project management role would be an advantage. Your experience should come from either the CRO or pharma environment, preferably in the UK. To succeed in this role you will be forward thinking, able to motivate and inspire ambitious team members and bring new ideas to the table.
