This is a unique and challenging opportunity to become part of a new business venture that involves managing a clinical research centre based in London! This position has come about as a result of an exciting partnership between a leading CRO and a highly respected academic research unit. This is the first of a number of similar initiatives for the company and as such this is a high profile role, reporting directly to the head of the company. We are looking for someone to come on board and optimise the number of clinical studies the unit has to work on and to maximise randomised patients. You will take day to day responsibility for managing all aspects of the unit building strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, R&D personnel and dedicated research staff throughout the unit, the hospital and the London NHS Trust. Who should apply? You must have commercial clinical research experience and an understanding of the NHS. The ideal candidate will have worked as a CRA or research nurse, have a strong understanding of the feasibility process and be able to identify the barriers to recruitment. With strong commercial acumen and the line management skills required to build a successful team, you will be able to demonstrate the capability to take charge of this new business venture and make it a success!!!. This is a high profile role, within a new and lucrative area of the business and as such you will be working very closely with the General Manager of the company. This position offers a clinical trials professional the opportunity to make a real difference to clinical research at site level, driving patient recruitment in clinical trials across a variety of therapy areas covered by the unit.
