An excellent opportunity to run challenging phase II-III studies in oncology for a leading biopharmaceutical company! At this company a study manager holds full scope accountability for studies with ownership of the entire process from protocol development through to report writing. Working closely with a programme manager you will be involved in strategic decision making and setting project strategy. There will be a mix of in-house run studies and those outsourced to CROs - you will play a key role in selecting and managing all external vendors. There will also be the chance for you to line manage members of the clinical team in addition to leading the cross functional project team across Europe. All studies will be in phases II-III of development with a focus on oncology therapeutics. This is an outstanding opportunity to really take charge of projects and eventually programmes within an innovative and expanding company. With one of the strongest product pipelines in the industry you can be sure of having involvement in the development of future blockbuster drugs! This is an office based position in West London with the option of more flexible working after three months. Who are we looking for? You will have a proven track record in European project management gained within either the CRO or pharma environment and experience of (or an interest in) oncology. Experience of managing teams and external vendors is essential along with financial management skills.
