Description:	A great opportunity has arisen for a candidate who likes the "hands on" approach! This leading life science company are highly respected for designing and manufacturing some of the most innovative near-infra red imaging systems available! Due to the high demand for the product range they are looking to recruit another Application Service Support Specialist to cover the UK. Your role will be split in two directions: Firstly you can expect to spend 3 - 4 days a week offering support to customers and technical assistance to the sales team through demonstrations, troubleshooting and technical support. You can expect to spend the rest of your time servicing and installing the instruments as well as installing and setting up the relevant software packages. The successful candidate will be educated to at least PhD level or have significant laboratory experience using techniques such as PCR, DNA sequencing, Western Blotting, FACS scanning and ELISA. As well as this you should have an aptitude for working with instruments, computers and software.
