Description:	Here is a high profile oncology programme management role in partnership with a leading pharmaceutical company! It doesnt get much better than this in a CRO - taking the lead role on a development programme for a high profile client with full strategic decision making responsibility on an international level! Our client is looking for the crème de la crème of project directors, a real star who they can entrust with their most valued client. This job is essentially a senior operational lead role within project management, with an emphasis on client relationship management and programme strategy/leadership. There is a financial and business development element to the job, reviewing proposals/contracts and maximising the profitability of the programme. You will oversee an international team of project managers, ensuring that all pivotal milestones are met and client satisfaction. Working hand in hand with the client you will play a key role in the development of an innovative new drug and be involved throughout the clinical development lifecycle - a rare and exciting opportunity! This is an office based role in Berkshire with home working 2-3 days per week. There is a possibility that the role could be based in another European country for the right candidate. Who should apply? You will have experience as a Project/Programme Director with a proven track record in portfolio management on an international level. Oncology expertise is essential either within a CRO or pharma environment. You will be a strong relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
