Description:	This is an unusual and rare opportunity for one lucky person out there! A globally renowned brand in the life science sector is looking for a 12 month maternity cover for a Sales Development Manager (Chemistry). This is a wonderfully varied role and involves focusing on the company's Chemistry products. The position can be office based or field based. The role will involve developing and implementing the UK business plan to achieve business results in line with the corporate goals relating to profitability and market share. This involves supporting the activities of the U.K sales force in the field by providing local marketing materials, attending exhibitions, seminars, communicating product launches/recalls and making field visits if required. You should be able to investigate the chemistry market segment within the UK gathering information and data to support the tactical plan, promote the relevant brands, investigate new opportunities, detail competitors and compile a SWOT analysis. The successful candidate will be a graduate in chemistry or a related subject. Previous life science sales experience will be required; those with a track record of sales success within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology customer base will be of very high interest.
