Description:	Here's a fantastic sales opportunity. This well established optical components manufacturer is looking for a sales engineer to work as part of their existing UK sales team. In this role, you will be trained from the company's headquarters in Germany following which you will your week will be spent with four days out in the field and one day at their UK head office in the SE. You will work closely with the other members of the sales team, as well as those involved in R and D and will be concentrating your sales efforts on well established OEM accounts. These optical components have a wide variety of applications from military defence to optometry, the role will therefore entail selling both "off the shelf" and custom designed components. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Engineering or Physics with core technical knowledge in photonics and optics. Ideally you will have some sales experience, although this doesn't necessarily need to be within the optics field. You will be a lively team player, attracted by the prospect of working as part of a small UK operation, with the backing of a large multinational organisation.
