Description:	What a rare and exciting opportunity we have here for someone looking to move into an applications role with a leader in their chosen field of expertise. An innovative manufacturer of research instruments and kits is keen to recruit a Field Applications Specialist to support customers from Cambridge in the south, up to Manchester in the north. The role will be highly technical and involve training and supporting existing customers in the areas of biology, hardware, software and data analysis that relate to the company's products. In addition you will support the sales team by providing presales demonstrations to customers. The successful candidate will be a graduate with research experience or have a MSc/PhD with a sound understanding of molecular biology/genomics research techniques. Those who have a strong cytogenetics background or microarray experience would also be of particular interest. Excellent data analysis skills will be essential along with strong communication skills.
