Description:	A great opportunity for a lucky person out there! This opportunity is in a fast growing venture capital funded biotech company, with offices situated in the North West. The company is now seeking talented, motivated scientists. This is a position for a Protein Purification Scientist. You will be responsible for the primary recovery and downstream purification of therapeutic proteins produced in yeasts, as well as the implementation and use of appropriate analytical techniques for the characterisation of these proteins. You will also be required to perform a range of biochemical methods to monitor the production processes of recombinant proteins and to confirm the quality of products. Proven experience in the purification and characterisation of recombinant proteins and development and validation of associated analytical methods will be necessary. Significant practical experience in the field of protein purification techniques and sample analysis techniques would be very desirable. You should be an MSc or PhD in Biochemistry to be suitable for this role with significant industrial experience. If you think you are suitable please call in now!
