Working in proposals is a commercial role (not sales), in which you will gain broad knowledge of the clinical trials market that is invaluable! The position is available with a global, market leading clinical research organisation involved in high profile drug development with the top 20 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Based from impressive offices in Berkshire you will work as part of a fun, focused and dedicated team, preparing winning proposals in support of business development activities. This is a highly autonomous role, and high profile within the company as you will be working with senior management across all functions whilst managing the proposal development process. Initially, during a period of training you will manage the companys response to Requests for Information, taking on more proposal development responsibility after your training is complete. The job draws on many skills including numeracy, verbal and written communication, time management and customer service. Who are we looking for? You must have a scientific background and time spent working in a commercial environment. Ideally you will have experience within the clinical research environment. Strong IT skills are essential along with numeracy and written communication. A confident communicator, you will thrive working in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
