Description:	Line management role within project management! Achieve project delivery through the motivation and management of an international project management team! When you work for this company as Director, Project Management you will lead a highly experienced, dedicated project management team specialising in internal medicine. Working across phase II-III projects and programmes on a global level it will be your job to support project managers within your team in the delivery of internal medicine projects with accountability for performance, quality, finances and timelines. The focus of this role is on line management of the team rather than running the projects - you will recruit staff, allocate resource to projects, identify training needs and manage performance. In addition to the line management responsibility you will play a key role in advising clients on programme/project strategy, manage the client relationship, input into proposal development and business development activities and contribute to the improvement of processes both within the project and department. In this role you will be working with a key client on a high profile programme and will spend a lot of time developing a partnership approach to clinical development strategy and to maximize the profitability of the programme for the company. This is an excellent opportunity to combine project delivery with line management, for a company committed to the development of its senior managers.
