Description:	This is an unusual and rare opportunity for one lucky person out there! A globally renowned brand in the life science sector is expanding its commercial team and is now recruiting a Business Development Manager. This is a wonderfully varied role and involves focusing on the company's proteomics research products at a handful of specific pharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts within the UK. You will support the local account managers at these accounts and develop tactical sales and marketing plans to develop sales further. You will address market segmentation issues, new product introductions and pricing issues to name but a few of the key responsibilities! The successful candidate will be a graduate or a PhD level scientist with a solid understanding of the proteomic research field . Previous life science sales experience will be required; those with a track record of sales success within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology customer base will be of very high interest. No previous marketing experience is necessary although an awareness of product positioning and development of tactical sales and marketing plans would be helpful.
